English as a Second Language

ESL - English as a Second Language

English as a Second Language (ESL) classes strengthen English reading, writing, and listening skills for employment, college, and student success. Instruction is provided for beginning, intermediate, and advanced level ESL learners. ESL Transition classes are provided at Kishwaukee College.

Classes are held in Malta at Kishwaukee College and in the communities of DeKalb and Rochelle. Classes at each location may vary.

Due to COVID-19, registration will be done by phone and assessment testing will be completed in class. View the ESL Class Schedule to determine dates, times and locations for classes.  Please view the Registration and Orientation page to get a head start on your registration process.
