Materials placed in the Reserve Collection by your instructor are at the Circulation Desk. Loan periods are set by your instructor. The list of materials on Reserve for your class can be seen on this web site at the Course Reserve link in Library SmartSearch.
IDs are made in the Library. A photo ID, such as a State ID or Driver's License, and established student status, such as a student schedule, are needed to obtain a College ID. There is no charge for the original card. A fee of $10.00 will be charged to replace a lost card.
For a Community Library Card, a person needs a photo ID, such as a State Driver's License, and proof of residency within Kishwaukee College's District, such as a utility bill or apartment rental agreement. Any resident 17 or older of the college district may request a Community Library Card to receive library services.
A Kishwaukee College Photo ID or a Library Community Card is required to check out Library materials.

College students and staff affiliated with any of the I-Share Libraries in Illinois are welcome to check out books and materials from the Kishwaukee College collection. You will just need your college ID/Library card and at least one photo ID. Please make an appointment for curbside pickup in Lot B near Door 58.
Most materials are checked out for four weeks. Print items may be renewed twice if no waiting list exists. Check out periods for Reserve items are set by the instructor. You may check out as many circulating items as you need. Reference materials must remain in the library. Print items may be renewed. All items may be renewed by phone at 815-825-9330, or online through My Account.
The library does not charge overdue fines. After a grace period, you will be billed for the replacement cost of the book or item plus a $10.00 non-refundable processing fee. You may be charged more for Reserve items.
Please note: appointments must be made at least 2 hours in advance of when you want to pick up your item(s), and cancellations must be made at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled appointment.
Library books may be returned in the brown outdoor college drop box located under the light by the curb near the flag pole at the main entrance (door 6).
